Debra first opened the dance school in 1978 after having a professional career herself. Her credits include being a dancer at Caesars Palace' in Las Vegas, aboard numerous cruise ships and 'Chorus Line' and 'West Side Story' in the West End.
Debra is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance in London and is also an adjudicator for dance festivals throughout the UK.
Debra has just celebrated her 30th year of teaching and has recently been awarded the prestigious accolade of 'LIFE MEMBER OF THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCING' (LONDON) for her contribution and dedication to DANCE!!
Trained by Debra for fourteen years, Dani went on to further her training at Phil Winston's Theatre Works for two years.
Dani is the principal teacher at MDC - she teaches 5 days a week and loves teaching the children.
In 2012, Dani was a dancer for Rhianna at 'The Brit Awards' which was a huge achievement, as hundreds of dancers auditioned from all over Europe with only 20 girls being selected. She has also danced for Micheal Buble, Tom Jones, The Pussycat Dolls, Boyzone, Emma Bunton, Peter Kay, Geri Halliwell, Rod Stewart, Donny Osmond, Rick Astley and David Hasslehoff on numerous TV shows, tours and concerts.
As well as dancing at The Moulin Rouge in Paris for a year, Dani toured with them internationally for four years, and was principal dancer aboard the QE2 cruise ship.
Dani has also been a dancer on 'The Royal Variety Performance', 'Clothes Show Live', and 'This Morning' and was a Lambrini Girl in two Lambrini commercials for three years.
Now a well established choreographer, she has recently choreographed the new hit Uk show 'Fast Love' (a tribute to George Michael) which is touring the UK for the next year hitting the West End at Christmas. She also choreographs all the production shows and events for Gravity Live Productions.
Dani choreographed two of Paddy Mcguiness's Tours 'Me and You Live' and 'Saturday Night Live', 'The Ratpack', The musical in Cairo, David Hasslehoff's 'Acceleration Tour', fashion shows for Adidas, Selfridges, Topshop and John Lewis and the dancers for Samantha Fox when she does personal appearances in Europe.
Dani has also taken street dance masterclasses for The Royal Ballet School's Summer school in Leeds at The Northern Ballet School.

Liz trained with Debra from the age of 10 years old.
Having gained her RAD ballet and NATD tap qualifications with Distinction, Liz has gone on to teach the younger children on Saturdays.
She is a wonderful teacher with a lot of professional dance experience. She also dances and models in many fashion shows throughout the UK for John Lewis and Selfridges and has also danced for Paddy McGuinness on his last UK tour through the schools dance agency and production company.
Clare has been dancing at Debra McLaren's since the age of 4. She has completed three years of further training at Phil Winston's Theatre Works.
Clare achieved top marks for her IDTA Ballet Tap and Modern examinations and also performed in the IDTA Advanced 2 Modern DVD for the aid of dance teachers.
Since leaving college Clare has appeared in ITV1's hit series Britannia High - choreographed by Arlene Phillips. She also appeared on tour with well known comedian Paddy McGuinness.
Clare completed 2 contracts with P&O Cruises performing as a dancer in their many spectacular shows.
She enjoys teaching the younger children on Saturday mornings and loves to see them developing their technique and personalities.
Zac Healey comes to teach Hip-Hop / Popping and Locking and House Master-classes at The McLaren Dance Company.
Zac is a self-taught Popper and founded and trained Ruff Diamond Dance Crew in 2008. He is trained in Locking, Breakin', House, and Hip-Hop and now teaches in Hartlepool at his school - The Urban Rockz Dance Academy.
Zac performed and supported X-Factor winner Joe McElderry at Newcastle City Hall in 2010, and in 2011 his crew were ranked 9th in the Las Vegas World Hip-Hop Championships.
Zac's crew have performed on Sky One’s 'Ashley Banjo’s Secret Street Crew' and came runner-up on series four of Sky One's 'Got to Dance'.
Zac supported JLS at the 2013 Rays of Sunshine Charity Concert at The Royal Albert Hall and also supported The Beach Boys and The Saturdays at the 2013 Barclaycard Summertime Ball, Hyde Park, Main Stage.
Zac has also been a backing dancer for Rita Ora, Radio 1 Teen Awards 2013, Wembley Arena.
Michael trained at The Royal Ballet School in London for 8 years and was head boy there. Michael has performed with many ballet companies including The Northern Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet, The Birmingham Royal Ballet and Ballet Ireland.
He has performed many ballets around the world including Coppelia, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Romeo & Juliet.
Michael comes every few months to teach our children a ballet workshop and training techniques.
